Whether a real planning and scheduling function exists, work is captured and tracked through work orders, PM compliance is measured, and scheduled work survives contact with production pressure.

Asset Performance Visibility and Failure Analysis

Whether the plant can see what is failing and why: CMMS as a working tool rather than shelfware, credible downtime and OEE tracking, awareness of MTBF and MTTR, and whether root-cause analysis happens or assets are simply reset and forgotten.

Spare Parts and MRO Readiness

Whether critical spares are identified and stocked, MRO inventory is managed with discipline, and how much downtime is actually driven by parts being unavailable when needed.

Workforce Capability and Continuity

Whether the maintenance workforce has the skills and staffing to execute, how much the plant leans on contractors and tribal knowledge, whether operators participate in basic asset care, and the continuity risk from an aging or thinly-covered workforce.
